Dear ASHNHA Annual Conference Participant,

We will be at the Alyeska Resport in beautiful Girdwood this Wednesday for the 2015 ASHNHA Annual Conference. Before you leave home, we want to share some information so you can make the most of your experience. Click here to access the conference program.

Start time & registration: Registration is open in the ballroom foyer in front of the Columbia Ballroom on Wednesday, September 23 between 1 - 5 p.m. The Board Meeting is scheduled for 2:30 - 5 p.m. (ASHNHA board members only.) If you are a board member and unable to attend, please email your proxy to sara@ashnha.com. The general meeting opens with a welcome reception and dinner on Wednesday evening on the mountain at the Bore Tide restaurant which can be accessed by the tram on the second floor. On Thursday, we hope you can join us at our evening banquet. Banquet refreshments start at 5:15 pm. You are welcome to bring a guest, but please RSVP to sara@ashnha.com if you are bringing a guest. The banquet ticket price for guests is $100; for all registered conference participants the cost is included with registration. Breakfast on Thursday & Friday mornings begins at 7 a.m.

Coming to Alyeska: The Alyeska Resort is located just 40 miles south of Anchorage in the town of Girdwood. From the airport, take the scenic Seward Highway heading south. The Seward Highway follows along the Turnagain Arm with many interpretative rest stops and view points. Depending on the season, it is not unusual to spot beluga whales or dall sheep from your car window. Take the highway and look for signs to Girdwood, the home of Alyeska Resort. At the Tesoro Gas Station, take a left-hand turn and follow the Alyeska Highway for three miles. You will come to a "T" intersection - turn left and go one mile for The Hotel Alyeska.

Transportation to Alyeska: For those of you not renting a car, the Alyeska contracts with the Four Seasons Transportation Group.  Please contact the Alyeska concierge desk  (907) 754- 2108 for rates and to reserve a ride.

Dress for the meeting: Please dress comfortably in business casual attire.
